Dr. Gustavo visits St. Bernard of Clairvaux

01-23-2022Weekly ReflectionFr. Michael Straley

Just a reminder: As you all know, the COVID problems continue and seem to be getting worse again. I worry that another “mutation or variant” will develop if we do not get this under control. With that said, I am again asking you to consider wearing masks as much as possible for your own safety and the safety of others. Also, please be aware of coughing and runny noses at Mass, especially among children. Our other parishioners get concerned if this occurs near them.

On another note, you know that I am involved with Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (Our Little Brothers and Sisters), one of my good friends, Gustavo, a former pequeno, recently graduated from medical school and will be visiting the last week in January. I have invited him to briefly speak before the Masses, January 29-30. If you would like to support NPH, we will collect donations after Mass.

Dr. Gustavo will also join our Life Ten group and will join us for a “Family Night” with our Edge students, our RE students, and their families on Wed, Feb 2.
